Supporting Black Canadian Communities Initiative (SBCCI) is a financing and loans offered by Black Business Initiative for entrepreneurs and small businesses in Atlantic Canada (Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador).
A federally funded initiative delivered by BBI to increase the capacity of Black-led grassroots and not-for-profit organizations that serve Black communities across Canada. Provides grants to help nonprofits grow stronger and better support their communities.

Program details
The Supporting Black Canadian Communities Initiative (SBCCI) was created by the Federal Government through Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) to help increase the capacity of Black-led grassroots and not-for-profit organizations that serve Black communities in Canada. BBI delivers this program, which provides funding so nonprofits can better support Black communities. The Round 4 Call for Proposals is now closed, but the program continues with training series and updates. Grant writing workshops are offered as part of the program support.
