Program details

Residency focuses on helping founders quickly identify where they are wrong and adapt rapidly. The program is structured in two phases: the first 3-6 months focus on establishing a value baseline, proving the problem is worth solving, getting the first paying customer, and then acquiring a statistically significant number of paying customers. Months 12-15 target getting 10X more paying customers and reaching $1M+ ARR. Core principles include being less wrong over time, accountability as a partner, building less and selling more, and prioritizing market evidence over opinion. The program explicitly measures performance by whether teams can monetize value and achieve $1M ARR in 18 months or less. It is tailored to builders who thrive on execution, accountability, and results. Former resident Dash Hudson (now Dash Social) is cited as a success story that found product-market fit during their Volta residency.

Who qualifies

Must be building an AI startup. Teams with builders scale faster. Must be committed to action, accountability, and evidence over ego.
