Venn Garage

The Venn Garage is a customized, self-paced incubator program for technology-based startups in New Brunswick. It helps early-stage companies test and validate their technology strategy, acquire early adopters and initial funding, and prepare to scale their business.

Program details

The Venn Garage is a hybrid (virtual and in-person) incubator program designed for New Brunswick-based technology startups with global market potential. The program provides a customized plan with milestones and timelines adapted to each team's needs, speed, and challenges. Services include bi-weekly coaching sessions (in English or French), support through critical growth stages such as MVP development, guidance on acquiring first paying customers, access to a group of mentors and entrepreneurs-in-residence with international experience, investment planning and investor pitch preparation, referrals to partner programs across Canada, and access to shared workspace at The Junction in Moncton. Recruitment is quarterly through the Open Pitch competition, where teams or individuals present their idea in a 5-minute pitch followed by 10 minutes of Q&A before a panel of Venn team members, mentors, and notable alumni. The program cost is $200 per participating company for the entire duration, representing an in-kind value of $47,000 per startup. Past and current participants include companies such as FITIV, The Farmer's Truck, Design Agile, Innature Robotics, Air Clarity Solutions, QuberSavings, CandidateHub, Parados, Innerva Virtual, and GrowDoc.

Who qualifies

Must be a technology-focused startup based in New Brunswick with a business idea that addresses current market challenges. Applicants must be curious, hardworking, open to advice, and ready to dedicate time and resources to move forward.
