Startup Women
Startup Women is a program offered by Startup Canada for entrepreneurs and small businesses in Atlantic Canada (Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador).
A year-long program offering women-identifying entrepreneurs topic-focused webinars, industry advisory circles (roundtables), and interactive 1:1 meetings with Startup Women leaders. Presented in partnership with CIBC Business Banking. The program also includes the Startup Women Empowerment Fund with community events in various cities.

Program details
Startup Women provides long-lasting support to women-identifying entrepreneurs across Canada throughout the year. The 2026 program includes three webinars (Blueprint for Success: From Idea to Market on March 25; Understanding the Funding Landscape in Canada on June 17; Going Up: Scaling Your Business on October 14) and five industry roundtables (Women in STEM on February 25 - recording now available; Women in Food & Beverage on May 6; Women in Creative Industries on July 22; Women in Retail & E-Commerce on September 16; Women in Franchise Businesses on November 25). The program also includes the Startup Women Empowerment Fund with community events in various cities (details forthcoming). Webinars run 90 minutes, roundtables run 2 hours. Presented in partnership with CIBC Business Banking.
