Startup Gov is a program offered by Startup Canada for entrepreneurs and small businesses in Atlantic Canada (Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador).

Program details
Startup Gov provides opportunities for entrepreneurs, the private sector, and government to co-create solutions for entrepreneurial success. The program hosts webinars guiding entrepreneurs through available government resources and how to access them. Past events have included sessions on federal procurement with Procurement Assistance Canada, competition law with the Competition Bureau, Innovation Canada's programs (Business Benefits Finder, Innovation Advisors), All-Party Entrepreneur Caucus Roundtables, and Budget demystification sessions with Parliamentary Secretaries. The 2026 specific programming is still being finalized, with the events page noting 'More events coming soon.' Startup Canada maintains independence from government to be an effective advocacy vehicle on behalf of the entrepreneurship sector.
