Program details
IP Assist is a program delivered by Springboard Atlantic on behalf of the National Research Council's Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC IRAP). It provides IP services to help SMEs acquire IP training and develop IP strategies. The program has multiple levels: Springboard delivers Level 1 (IP knowledge and awareness) and Level 2 (IP strategy development). SMEs that are already NRC IRAP clients can contact their Industrial Technology Adviser (ITA) to verify eligibility. Completion of Level 2 provides businesses with an executable IP strategy aligned with their business strategy and goals. Non-IRAP clients interested in eligibility assessment are directed to contact NRC IRAP. The program is prominently featured on the Springboard homepage alongside IP Advantage.
Who qualifies
Must be an eligible NRC IRAP client company. SMEs that are not currently IRAP clients can contact NRC IRAP to assess eligibility.
