Propel Alumni Community & Network

Propel Alumni Community & Network is a networking program offered by Propel for entrepreneurs and small businesses in Atlantic Canada (Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador).

Propel maintains an active alumni community and network that includes over 400 companies that have gone through the accelerator. The community provides ongoing peer support, networking, group meetups, fireside chats, lunch and learns, and Founder Real Talk sessions. The broader Propel network includes board members, global investor contacts, regional and national industry partners, and alumni.

Program details

Joining Propel means becoming part of the entire Propel community, which includes active participants and alumni companies. The community hosts weekly group meetups, fireside chats with global speakers, lunch and learns, and Founder Real Talk sessions. Propel's network includes a board of directors with connections to venture capital (Woven Capital, AltaML), legal (Stewart McKelvey), ocean technology (Canada's Ocean Supercluster), and other sectors. Investment partners include BDC, Innovacorp, and NBIF. Community partners include Digital Nova Scotia, Navigate Startup House, Planet Hatch, Startup Zone, Venn Innovation, and Volta. The alumni network spans more than 400 companies that have gone through Propel since 2003.
