Market Entry Development Program (MEDP) is a program offered by Invest Nova Scotia for entrepreneurs and small businesses in Atlantic Canada (Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador).
MEDP helps Atlantic Canadian businesses enter European or Indo-Pacific markets by providing expert guidance, strategic insights, and access to key industry connections through two packages: Essentials ($1,250 company contribution) and Comprehensive ($2,500 company contribution).

Program details
MEDP is made possible by funding from the Government of Canada and the four Atlantic provinces, with support from the Atlantic Chamber of Commerce. Participants receive a customized market entry strategy. The Essentials Package ($13,000 value, $1,250 company contribution) provides expert feedback, targeted advice, and market introductions. The Comprehensive Package ($26,000 value, $2,500 company contribution) provides full market research, customized entry strategy, and introductions to key contacts.
Who qualifies
Must have a product or service with viable international market potential. Must be committed to executing an export-focused growth strategy. Must demonstrate financial and operational capacity to expand into new markets.
