AscendBio is a joint program of Invest Nova Scotia and the Verschuren Centre located in Cape Breton. It enables companies in the industrial biotech and agritech sectors to scale up their technologies and business operations without leaving Canada. The program covers acceleration, incubation, export readiness, and start-up support.
