Program details

The Ignition Program offers post-secondary students a 10-week program that gives access to training, mentorship, resources, ecosystem connections and honorariums. Participants receive an entrepreneurial skills toolbox covering goal setting, design thinking, networking, pitching, and more. The program includes training sessions by local and international entrepreneurs, connections with mentors and industry leaders, one-on-one coaching and consulting, and access to professional and entrepreneurial resources. Sessions cover topics like e-commerce, financial literacy, digital marketing, AI, intellectual property, personal branding, and how to pitch. Partner institutions include Saint Mary's University, NSCAD University, Mount Saint Vincent University, Nova Scotia Community College, University of King's College, and Atlantic School of Theology.
