Networking Events is a networking program offered by IGNITE Atlantic for entrepreneurs and small businesses in Atlantic Canada (Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador).
IGNITE Atlantic organizes recurring networking events including Business Buzz Speed Networking sessions, Spark Tank (reverse pitch events), and AI Mixer & Showcase events, connecting entrepreneurs, business owners, and business support organizations.

Program details
IGNITE Atlantic hosts a variety of networking events across rural Nova Scotia. Business Buzz Speed Networking events are fast-paced speed networking sessions held in partnership with the Yarmouth Chamber of Commerce and the Chambers Plan, designed to spark connections among local professionals over coffee. Spark Tank is a reverse pitch competition where business support organizations (including Pictou County Chamber of Commerce, Pictou County Partnership, IGNITE, CBDC NOBL, Invest Nova Scotia, ACOA, Coastal NS, BDC, and Province of Nova Scotia) each have 3 minutes to pitch their programs and services in a Dragon's Den-style format, followed by open networking. AI Mixer & Showcase events, co-hosted with Volta, connect tech professionals, entrepreneurs, and AI enthusiasts, featuring guest speakers (e.g., Wayne Miller of BrainThrive). Vibe Coding sessions with Volta allow participants to use AI tools to turn natural language prompts into working prototypes, with no prior coding experience needed.
Who qualifies
Open to the public. Registration via Eventbrite typically required.
