Program details
IGNITE Atlantic hosts a recurring Lunch & Learn series primarily at the Cape Breton Business Innovation Centre in Sydney (as part of the Tuesday Lunch & Learn series), and also at its Yarmouth location. Sessions feature guest speakers and cover a wide range of topics relevant to entrepreneurs and business owners, including: Self-Employment Benefit Programs, the START Program for employer wage support, export development via Invest NS, social media marketing and short-form video creation (with Elevate Media), bookkeeping fundamentals (with Day to Day Finance's Alison Giovannetti), behaviour-based leadership (with Carol Meyers), publishing (with FriesenPress in partnership with Blood & Honey Collective), AI/vibe coding (with Volta), Mitacs funding programs, and supports available from Volta. Events are typically 1-2 hours, free to attend, and include a complimentary lunch. Registration via Eventbrite is required.
