Free, one-on-one business advisory service that connects registered businesses in Halifax Regional Municipality to programs, resources, partners, and advisors to overcome challenges and pursue growth opportunities.

Program details
The SmartBusiness Program provides no-cost, one-on-one support to registered businesses across Halifax Regional Municipality. The SmartBusiness team takes time to understand business goals and connects owners directly with the right programs, partners, and advisors. Support areas include expanding into new markets, strengthening supply chains, boosting productivity and innovation, accessing funding and expertise, building resilience and recovering from disruptions, and maximizing growth opportunities. The program leverages a network of senior-level decision-makers from over 30 public, private, and post-secondary organizations. The program supports more than 450 businesses each year in HRM and is supported by the Government of Nova Scotia.
