Hire International Talent (Global Talent Stream) is a advisory service offered by Halifax Partnership for entrepreneurs and small businesses in Atlantic Canada (Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador).
As a Designated Referral Partner for the Global Talent Stream, Halifax Partnership refers eligible Halifax employers and guides them through the application process to hire temporary foreign workers for unique and specialized positions.

Program details
Halifax Partnership serves as a Designated Referral Partner for the Global Talent Stream (GTS). The service helps Halifax-based employers hire skilled international workers by: allowing businesses to hire a Temporary Foreign Worker (TFW) to fill unique and specialized positions, helping businesses expand and compete on a global scale, and allowing certain skilled workers to obtain a work permit within two weeks of applying. The Labour Market team guides employers through the application process. This service is supported by the Government of Canada.
