Program details

Genesis Membership is designed to support the full ecosystem of tech founders and startups in Newfoundland and Labrador. It is open, ambitious, and designed to meet founders where they are on their startup journey. Members receive: full access to coworking space at the Emera Innovation Exchange on Signal Hill; regular meetings with Genesis startup coaches (seasoned advisors who know what it takes to build, scale, and win); a founder community of driven entrepreneurs in the province; a deep network of founders, experts, funders, and more, with Genesis covering the cost of working with select consultants who can move the needle; hands-on AI Garage access for R&D, product development, or operational transformation; and invites to exclusive founder-only sessions, guest talks, and investor meetups. Membership is not stage-dependent -- it is about substance. Founders must demonstrate drive, creativity, and resilience, and be solving a real problem worth solving. Genesis takes no equity, royalties, or revenue share from members. The membership page features a testimonial from Scott Stevenson, Co-Founder and CEO of Spellbook, who states the company 'simply wouldn't exist without Genesis' and now services nearly 4,000 law firms in over 50 countries with over 110 employees.

Who qualifies

For founders building something meaningful. Must demonstrate drive, creativity, and resilience. Must be solving a real problem that is worth solving. Not stage-dependent -- about substance.
