LevelSec: Advancing Cyber Leaders is a program offered by Digital Nova Scotia for entrepreneurs and small businesses in Atlantic Canada (Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador).
Advanced cybersecurity training program for mid-career and senior professionals, developed with the University of Waterloo. Offers CISSP certification training, cybersecurity governance and risk management, and AI and IT systems security courses.

Program details
LevelSec addresses Canada's shortage of mid-career and senior cybersecurity professionals. Developed in partnership with the University of Waterloo (WatSPEED), the program offers three courses: (1) ISC2 Official CISSP Certification Training for cybersecurity professionals with 5+ years experience, (2) Cybersecurity Governance & Risk Management, an 8-week instructor-led program covering NIST CSF, ISO/IEC 27001, CMMI, risk communication, with a real-world capstone, and (3) AI & IT Systems Security focusing on securing AI systems using ISO/IEC 42001 and ISO/IEC 27001. Funded by the National Cybersecurity Consortium and Nova Scotia's Department of Labour, Skills and Immigration. Scholarship seats available for eligible Nova Scotian participants.
Who qualifies
Mid-career and senior cybersecurity professionals. CISSP training requires 5+ years of cybersecurity experience.
