Digital Discovery Camp

Digital Discovery Camp is a program offered by Digital Nova Scotia for entrepreneurs and small businesses in Atlantic Canada (Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador).

Summer and March break tech camps for youth ages 9-12 across Nova Scotia, in partnership with the Discovery Centre, offering hands-on experiences in coding, robotics, video game development, and hardware.

Program details

Digital Discovery Camp brings interactive learning together with the tech sector for youth. Camps run during summer and March break at locations across Nova Scotia including Halifax, New Glasgow, Spryfield, Sydney (Cape Breton), Bridgewater, and Yarmouth. Halifax camps are priced at $260-$295 (member/non-member); camps in other communities are free. Camps run 4-5 days and include tech topics like video game development, coding, robotics, and hardware. Campers connect with professional mentors in the tech sector. Funded by ACOA with REDspace as sponsor.

Who qualifies

Youth ages 9-12. Halifax camps: open registration with member discount. Community camps (New Glasgow, Spryfield, Sydney, Bridgewater, Yarmouth): free, application-based.
