Blueprint for Success
Blueprint for Success is a program offered by Centre for Women in Business for entrepreneurs and small businesses in Atlantic Canada (Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador).
An eight-week virtual business planning program designed to guide and support women through getting started in business and creating or updating their business plan. Free to participants, now offered in partnership with Immigration Workplace Education Initiative (WEI) as part of CWB's certificate training programs.

Program details
Blueprint for Success includes modules on developing your idea, market research, financial planning, marketing, operations, and more. Participants gain access to information and resources to start, launch, and grow a business; a collaborative group of women in the same business stage; one-on-one support from experienced business advisor facilitators; dedicated time for business planning; and week-to-week accountability from facilitators and peer group members. By program end, participants can develop a business vision, utilize market research tools, develop a detailed marketing plan, identify startup costs and prepare cash flow projections, develop an operations plan, and increase confidence in business management skills. Those who successfully complete the program may apply through the Recognition of Prior Learning program at FOLCD, Dalhousie University for advanced standing in the Certificate in Business Management.
Who qualifies
Women-identifying entrepreneurs in startup or growth stages. Internet and computer access required for virtual delivery.
