Mentor Network

Mentor Network is a mentorship program offered by COVE for entrepreneurs and small businesses in Atlantic Canada (Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador).

A mentor network connecting experienced entrepreneurs, defence professionals, investors, and technical specialists with marine and dual-use technology companies participating in COVE's programs.

Program details

COVE is expanding its programs and looking for experienced mentors to support innovative companies. The mentor network includes entrepreneurs, business leaders, defence and security professionals, climate and renewable energy experts, investors, advisors, ecosystem builders, and technical specialists in AI, energy, autonomy, sensors, materials, maritime and more. Mentors guide innovators across both defence and non-defence programs, with commitment levels ranging from 1-3 hours per month (monthly meetings) to 5-10 hours per month (weekly meetings or multiple mentees). Programs cover innovation from seabed to space across multiple domains.

Who qualifies

For mentors: experienced professionals with expertise in relevant domains. For mentees: companies participating in COVE programs.
