Program details
COVE accelerators fast-track high-potential marine and dual-use technologies by connecting companies to expert mentorship, infrastructure, and global networks. As an official accelerator site for NATO's Defence Innovation Accelerator for the North Atlantic (DIANA), COVE supports companies developing dual-use technologies with both civilian and military applications. The program provides access to advanced facilities, expert guidance, and international defence networks to accelerate deployment and enhance readiness. Additionally, COVE hosts the Innovate UK Global Incubator Programme, offering UK-based marine technology companies a six-month market expansion experience in Canada. Canada's marine economy generates over CA$50 billion annually, and COVE positions participants to access this market alongside increased defence spending opportunities.
Who qualifies
Companies developing marine or dual-use technologies. NATO DIANA participants require citizenship in Canada or a NATO nation. Innovate UK programme targets UK-based marine technology companies.
