Program details
Pedagogy is a core pillar of CDL, providing graduate students and high school students with hands-on experience in innovation and entrepreneurship. The program was originally established in 2013/14 as a course for MBA students at the Rotman School of Management and has since expanded to Rotman Commerce and other MBA programs. Students gain experiential education by working directly with companies enrolled in the CDL program, supporting ventures with tasks including developing financial models, evaluating potential markets, and fine-tuning strategies for scaling. Each CDL site operates through a respective post-secondary institution, with academics providing insights on economic impact of new technologies.
Who qualifies
Students enrolled at CDL-affiliated post-secondary institutions, particularly MBA and graduate programs.
