FBA Pitch Assistance Program
FBA Pitch Assistance Program is a program offered by Food & Beverage Atlantic for entrepreneurs and small businesses in Atlantic Canada (Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador).
The FBA Pitch Assistance Program partners with major retailers (Atlantic Superstore, Sobeys, IGA, Costco) to offer FBA members exclusive opportunities to pitch their products for retail listing, with end-to-end support from retail readiness evaluation through the pitch process and post-program follow-up.

Program details
Food & Beverage Atlantic partners with major retail chains to create structured pitch opportunities for Atlantic Canadian food and beverage producers. The program provides end-to-end support including evaluating retail readiness, guiding participants through the pitch process, and providing post-program follow-up to help ensure success. Spring 2026 retail partners include IGA (March 23, virtual, for Quebec and New Brunswick stores), Atlantic Superstore (April 9, by invite), Sobeys (April 14, by appointment), and Costco (May 11-14, by appointment). Each pitch session is typically a one-day event. Free information sessions precede the pitch events to help companies understand food safety, labeling, distribution, and marketing requirements. A downloadable guide, 'How to Pitch to Canada's Top Retailers,' is also available. FBA's Director of Operations, Ryan Gallant, leads the information sessions.
Who qualifies
Must be a Food & Beverage Atlantic member. Must be an Atlantic Canadian food and beverage producer with market-ready products.
